ÖAMTC Christophorus Flight Rescue is Austria’s main Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) and operates from 16 bases across Austria with a fleet of 30 helicopters.
At each base at least 1 helicopter is stationed and typically 3-7 missions are run per helicopter per day.
ÖAMTC selected RocketRoute because of its comprehensive solution covering IFR requirements as well as VFR. As part of this solution, RocketRoute created a new faster approach to filing and managing flight plans and for realtime flight tracking.
This has allowed HEMS pilots to work as normal but to use the new solution to comply with their CAA requirements for carrying members of the public.
Any Operator that wants to use a modern and innovative system to shorten the time for briefing and flight plan filing, should use RocketRoute.
