We think we’ve solved a real problem in today’s aviation market by helping pilots to prepare and file flight plans in minutes, instead of hours. We’ve created a service that is easy to use, fast and convenient whether you’re accessing via a PC, tablet or smartphone.
Kurt Lyall looks after commercial matters for RocketRoute. He is an experienced, commercial operator, who has worked with a range of successful businesses from start-up to blue-chip. Most recently Kurt worked in the Netherlands for TomTom, as MD of its Mobile BU. Prior to TomTom, Kurt co-founded a research and go-to-market consultancy, called FirstPartner Ltd. This was sold to a Norwegian plc in 2007 where Kurt assisted in preparations for IPO operating as CEO. Kurt has also worked for Credit Suisse and DLJ as an Equity Analyst, covering the European Software based in London. Kurt is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
Justin Coelho oversees operations for RocketRoute. Justin is passionate about ITC and business management and has over 15 years experience in these sectors. As an entrepreneur Justin was a co-founder of FirstPartner, a market research business and also a founder of GoodFusion an outsourcing and consulting business, which he grew into a multi-million dollar business within 2 years. Justin has worked with the blue chip companies in the IT services, telecoms and recruitment industries for companies such as Vodafone, Virgin and Adecco amongst many others. Justin holds a Masters Degree in Systems Design & Management from Leeds University and also has a degree in Engineering.
Uwe Nitsche is responsible for technology and development at RocketRoute. Uwe is a qualified commercial pilot instructor and holds a degree in Applied Computer Science, speaks fluent German, French and Dutch. Uwe previously built and sold IZR Solutions one of the UK’s leading Business ISPs. Uwe has also worked with Lufthansa Systems Network and Frankfurt Airport.
Michael Flynn is a non-executive director with RocketRoute. Michael, authored and developed the original routing software now used by RocketRoute for navigating aircraft through IFR airspace. Michael is currently a director with GIST a division of Linde Group. Michael holds an MBA and is a qualified IFR pilot.
Jerome de Vitry is a non-executive director with RocketRoute and is the CEO of Miniweb Technologies Ltd, a digital media Company with a leading position in the Connected TV market. In 1998 Jerome joined the founding team of Completel Europe NV, a telecom operator which became publicly listed in 2000. He held various positions including President of the French operations (1999-2001), COO (2001-2002), and CEO (2002-2007). He successfully created the French operations and progressively established Completel as the largest operator specializing in the business sector, and as the third largest business operator in France, after France Telecom and Neuf-Cegetel. Prior to this he worked for Alcatel NV holding senior management positions, and the Boston Consulting Group in Paris. Jerome graduated from Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées in France, were he was awarded an engineer degree in 1984 and in 1985 he received an MBA from INSEAD, France.
Tony Carter has 25+ years’ experience in the field of IT and Business Consulting; in the UK, Europe, North America, Russia and Asia, including major corporations, both private and public sector. Tony Carter now presents TVIN and Angels Nominees in RocketRoute. Tony is also a business angel supporting a number of other start-up companies with innovative technologies and high growth potential. Outside work, he is a qualified pilot and has twice walked across the Andes for charity.
