RocketRoute First to use Next Generation Flight Plan Filing
RocketRoute and EUROCONTROL have worked together to implement an entirely new ‘next generation’ method of filing flight plans. RocketRoute is the first business to have achieved this. The new method does away with filing via AFTN and sending a Type B message and replaces it with a new XML interface. All of RocketRoute’s European IFR flight plans, since March, have been filed using this new method.
